Robert Campbell
joined the Air Force because it wasn't the Army and arrived in Vietnam just before the
Tet Offensive.
After spending a year in the country, he came back to the states where he
met a girl named Diane and convinced her to marry him. Today he
works as a drug and rehabilitation counselor for the Veteran's
Administration in rural Virginia. When he is not at his computer writing, he
can be found renovating the house they raised two sons in, or in the
Roanoke County rec center's pottery studio, wondering when
Diane will finally let him put his own pottery wheel on the patio.
Bob is also an accomplished poet and will soon
be sharing some of his work on this site. |
